On Nov. 30, the final of 8th session of SCUT Debate Competition unveiled in Concert Hall, HEMC campus. School of Economics and Commerce and School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering met in the final. The resolution of the debate competition was “Adults Should Focus more on Benefit or Justice”. Acting as affirmative, SEC delegation held that “adults should focus more on benefit” and SAME delegation held that “adults should focus more on justice”. After intense and exciting debate, SEC defended the championship of the final. Yuan Penghao, a member from SEC delegation, was awarded the “best debater” honor. (Edited by Huang Xiaoting)
