SCUT is strengthening ties with the University of Applied Sciences Ingolstadt, Germany, to promote student training and research cooperation, based upon the partnership of co-running a Confucius Institute program.

SCUT and Nanyang Technological University (NTU) are committed to forging tighter links, based upon the previous partnership at the Sino-Singapore Joint Research Institute.

SCUT and the University of Michigan (Umich) will work together on strengthening international cooperation in scientific research and education, according to a latest agreement sealed earlier in this month.
