On the afternoon of June 14th, 2016, the Guest professor Appointment Ceremony of Alumnis Huangwo, Chentong, and Wu Zhongmin, and the Prize Presentation Ceremony for Hongda Excellent Graduation Project Award were held successfully in the Academic Hall in the 7th Building. Guangdong Hongda Construction Investment Group’s chairman HUANG Wo, executive director CHEN Tong, general manager WU Zhongmin, vice general manager LUO Weifeng, the dean of School of Civil Engineering and Transportation, Prof. SU Chen, the Deputy Dean, Ms. LI Meichun and the teachers and students from Dept. of Construction Management took part in this ceremony.
At the guest professor appointment ceremony, the dean Prof. SU Cheng, awarded the letters of appointment for three guest professors, Prof. Huang, Prof. Chen and Prof. Wu, who will bring more new power to SCET. Three new guest professors delivered speeches to express their feelings. Prof. Huang recalled the days when he studied in SCUT and expressed his great gratitude for being appointed as the guest professor of our school. Prof. Su acknowledged Hongda Construction Investment Group for establishing the Hongda Excellent Graduation Project Award for Dept. of Construction Management, which was a great support to our school's academic and education work.

At the Hongda Excellent Graduation Project Award Awarding Ceremony, Prof. SU read the recognition decision and winners list of the Hongda Excellent Graduation Project Award. Three new guest professors awarded the honorary certificate to the winners. Ms. CAI Wenqi delivered the acceptance speech as the student representative. We believe that, with the support of Guangdong Hongda Construction Investment Group and the careful guidance from the leaders and teachers of our college, there will be more excellent graduates from the Dept. of Construction Management.
After that, three guest professors also brought us excellent academic reports. After their academic lectures, teachers and students showed their interest and asked a lot of questions. The speakers and the audiences had a great afternoon. The students looked forward to having more opportunity to learn from the three guest professor in the future.
