On April 15th, the Guangdong Provincial Committee and the People's Government of Guangdong Province held the Provincial Science and Technology Innovation Conference. During the conference, the Guangdong Province Science and Technology Awards 2021 were presented. Our school received a total of 7 awards, including 5 first prizes and 2 second prizes. The total number of awards and the number of first prizes both ranked first in our university. Among them, the achievement “A Set of Key Technologies and Applications of Seismic Performance-Based of High-rise Building Concrete Structures” completed by Professor Xiaolei Han's team and the achievement Key Technologies and Engineering Applications of Low-carbon Maintenance and Circulation Utilization in Road Engineering completed by Professor Jiangmiao Yu's team both won the First Prize of Guangdong Province Science and Technology Progress. The achievement Research and Application of Urban Rainstorm Waterlogging Mechanism and Key Technology of Prevention and Control in the Pearl River Delta Region completed by Professor Guoru Huang's team won the Second Prize of Guangdong Province Science and Technology Progress, marking a historic breakthrough for our school!
