报告摘要:The continued fraction expansion of a real number in [0, 1], in particular its Diophantine approximations, are a major topic in number theory. One particular method, by which one can study such approximations is by considering a suitable discrete dynamical system ([0,1], T) and studying what is now known as the shrinking target problem first introduced by R. Hill and S. L. Velani in 1995. In this talk, we focus on the dynamical system of continued fractions to describe the well-approximable sets whose Hausdorff dimensions will be presented. This is a joint work with Bao-Wei Wang, Jun Wu and Jian Xu。
