主讲人介绍
    高伟博士现在是澳大利亚新南威尔士大学土木与环境工程8297至尊品牌游戏官方网站副教授。他的主要研究兴趣包括工程结构的不确定性建:头治龇椒、安全评估以及可靠性设计。他与合作者提出了一系列用于结构不确定性分析的方法并发表了160余篇期刊和会议论文。有60多篇国际期刊论文被SCI收录,其中大多数发表在国际著名刊物上。他现在是Elsevier期刊Composites Part B Engineering 的编委。

报告概要
    本次报告主要介绍报告人及其研究组在不确定性结构的分析、建:桶踩拦赖确矫娴难芯砍晒。内容涉及不确定性结构的静力、动力、稳定、弹塑、断裂和可靠性问题。研究工作中所提出的有些方法有助于解决实际的结构工程问题并可应用于其它领域。

Brief Biography of Dr Wei Gao
Dr Wei Gao is currently an Associate Professor of School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of New South Wales in Australia. His research interests include uncertain modelling and uncertain methods, safety assessment and reliability-based design of engineering structures. He and his research collaborators have proposed a series of methods for non-deterministic analysis of engineering systems. He has published over 160 peer-reviewed journal and conference papers in the areas of computational mechanics, dynamics, structural reliability and optimization. Over 60 international journals papers have been indexed by SCI, most of them are published in international prestigious journals. He is the member of editorial board of Elsevier journal Composites Part B Engineering.
Abstract
The development of innovative methods for the modelling of systems with uncertain properties and solution procedures with emphasis on applications to engineering structures are presented. Problems of statics, dynamics, elasto-plasticity, stability, fracture mechanics and reliability are addressed. The developed computational non-deterministic analysis and safety assessment framework constitutes a fundamental advance to computational mechanics and engineering. It can provide engineers with quantitative analysis results on the safety/stability/reliability of important and common class structures. Research in computational non-deterministic mechanics and engineering constitutes fundamental research in its nature and yet has multi-disciplinary applications such as in acoustics, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, automotive engineering and so on.
