Nov. 8th-12th 2015, two delegations consisted of 3 teachers (Prof. GONG Ting, Dr. ZHANG Xiaoling, Dr. HE Jingwei) and 27 students from Hong Kong Institute of Education (HKIEd) and City University of Hong Kong (CityU), paid a five-day visit to the School of Public Administration, South China University of Technology.
On Nov. 10th, Prof. HUANG Fei, the deputy director of International Office for Hong Kong, Macao & Taiwan Affairs of SCUT, and the vice-dean of SPA-SCUT Prof. FAN Xu expressed warm welcome to both of the delegations from Hong Kong. Then the vice-dean of SPA-SCUT FAN Xu made a short introduction of SPA-SCUT in hopes that both universities could strengthen cooperation in related fields in the near future. After that, four keynote speeches were respectively delivered by Dr. ZHANG Xiaoling from CityU, Dr. HE Jingwei from HKIEd, Prof. ZHU Yizhong from SPA-SCUT, and Prof. Martin de Jong from TUDelft. The students from two universities pursued a series of warm and friendly group discussions with topics on common interests.
SCUT has established friendly co-operative ties and academic exchange programs with HKIEd and CityU. This visit enhanced communication between students and teachers, also helped facilitate the friendly exchange and cooperation among SCUT, HKIEd and CityU.
