Shanghai University of Finance and Economics hosted The 2nd Chinese Forum on Social Security Theory and Practice on November 7, 2018. With the theme of “research on China's social security theory and policy in the stage of high-quality development”, participants took deep discussion in related to topics including social security and insurance, medical health, ageing, housing security etc. Faculties and students from School of Public Administration, South China University of Technology, were invited to attend the forum and share their latest rsearch.
In the forum, Prof. Yang Yinan and Prof. Zhong Yuying were invited to presented their report respectively, entitled “Research on Recognition of Delayed Retirees Based on Latent Classification Model” and “The Structural Equation Model Analysis of How Filial Piety Behavior Affecting the Health of Old People".


The 8th National Postgraduate Academic Forum on Social Security and Social Policy was held successively in the next day. Xiao Jianhua, a graduate student from the 2017 cohort, was present in the forum and reported his paper entitled "Maintenance and Health Care: Research on Pension and Economic Performance of Care Expenditure". It is reported that the forum has received more than 230 papers, and 50 papers were selected by the organizing committee.

In these series academic forums, teachers and students from SPA-SCUT positively engaged in sharing and exchanging ideas and thoughts with other experts and scholars, showing the latest research of the discipline of social security and also radiating the influence of SPA.
