Recently, the Ministry of Human Resources & Social Security and the National Postdoctoral Management Committee has jointly issued the approval of the newly-establishment of 339 postdoctoral research stations.
According to the newly-released notice, School of Public Administration of SCUT was approved to establish a postdoctoral station in the first-level discipline of Public Administration.
At present, SPA is authorized to confer doctor’s degree in Public Administration. In 2018, Public Administration was awarded the Key Discipline of Guangdong Province. The establishment of the postdoctoral research station elevates the school’s discipline construction to a new level.
In the future, with the help of this important platform, the school will further attract more domestic and foreign outstanding youths to come to SPA for engaging in postdoctoral research work. Meanwhile, the school is dedicated to improve the recruiting and training quality of the team of postdoctoral researchers, continuously promoting the faculty construction, development of disciplines and scientific research.
