On May 27, the Sixth Digital Government Governance Summit Forum, sponsored by the Chinese Society of Administration and the School of Public Administration of Guizhou University of Finance and Economics, and hosted by Chinese Public Administration Magazine and Guizhou Administration Society, was held in Guiyang City. Professor Wen Hong, Associate Professor Liu Hongbo, and Associate Professor Wu Yeguo from the School of Public Administration were invited to attend the forum and made keynote reports and sub-forum reports respectively.
The theme of the summit forum is “Big Data, Administrative Reform and government governance”. More than 200 experts and scholars from universities, research institutes, government departments, enterprises, academic journals, and news media all over the country participated in the forum. Li Baorong, President of the Chinese Public Administration Society, attended the forum. The opening ceremony was presided over by Yang Yong, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Guizhou University of Finance and Economics. He mentioned that the forum offered suggestions for promoting big data strategic actions, improving the digital government governance system, and administrative system reform, which is of great significance and had a far-reaching impact on comprehensively building a modern socialist country and comprehensively promoting the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
