On May 18, 2024, School of Public Administration of Chongqing University hosted an academic seminar on Behavioral Public Management and Urban and Rural Public Governance. This seminar brought together 31 well-known experts and scholars in the field of public administration from all over the country and more than 100 participants to carry out in-depth exchanges and discussions on hot issues in the field of behavioral public management and urban and rural public governance.
Cao Yajie, a graduate student of SPA, reported her paper titled “How does public protest behavior of NIM by Conflict Form? - Qualitative Comparative Analysis of multiple cases under the framework of information - Psychological - Behavior” at the sub-forum of the seminar.
During the seminar, the participating experts and scholars shared the latest research results and practical experience on a number of topics such as behavioral public management, urban governance, digital governance, community grass-roots governance, rural governance, public service innovation and social security, and carried out heated discussions. The participating experts and scholars agreed that the conference not only provided a high-level exchange platform for researchers in the field of behavioral public management and urban and rural public governance, but also provided strong support for promoting academic innovation and practical application in related fields. The organizing committee also spoke highly of the participating graduate students, whose research achievements fully demonstrated the academic literacy and innovative spirit of the young generation of scholars in the field of public administration.
